Police think trucker killed local women

RELATED STORY: Police ask: Are there others? - http://www.lvrj.com/news/34511299.html

Las Vegas police have long theorized that three women whose dismembered bodies were found along highways in Las Vegas, California and Illinois were victims of a truck-driving serial killer.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported in November that local investigators were coordinating with California and Illinois police agencies after the partial remains of Jodi Brewer, 19, Lindsay Harris, 21, and Misty Saens, 25, were found. All three disappeared while working as prostitutes in the Las Vegas Valley.

Brewer’s torso was found in August 2003 near Interstate 15 and Cima Road, about 25 miles south of the Nevada-California border. Harris’ legs were found in May 2005, near Springfield, Ill. The partial remains of Saens were found in March 2003 off of state Route 159 near the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

http://www.lvrj.com/news/42529972.html - These are the same 3 young women mentioned in the America's Most Wanted story that had Jessie's case in it - only now they do not mention Jessie as a potential victim. In my opinion, that is because Jessie is alive and they know there is absolutely no proof of anything else. Although I am very grateful that Jessie's case was aired on this very important show and now she has her own page on America's Most Wanted Missing Persons: http://www.amw.com/missing_persons/brief.cfm?id=60803.
